With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Jay McDonald formerly of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus McDonald and Minnie McDonald (Anderson); his son Trent; and his siblings, Roy, Jack, Glen, Pete, Ron, Jim, Eugene, Francis, Shirley, Betty and Arleen.
He is survived by: his wife Sally McDonald (Jaskolski); his children, Aaron Dolliver (Greg), Lee McDonald and Marvin; his grandchildren, Breck, Rylan, MacKenzie and Darbi; his great grandchild Sylas; his sisters, Irma and Janie; and his sisters-in-law, Betty and Peggy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Michigan, a charity of choice, or to the family via McWilliams Funeral Home.
