It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn D. Colby of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward "Ned" and Louise Thompson (Jones); and her brother George "Dike" Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Warren Colby; her daughter Meredith Smith of Alpena, MI; her siblings-in-law, Evagene Thompson of Alpena, MI, Carolyn Colby of Boston, Mass and Gene Colby of Alpena, MI; and her close friends, Carl Gardner of Alpena, MI. and Harriett Kelm of Alpena, MI.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
