She is survived by: her parents, Nancy Kelly (James) and Sanford Nelson (Helen Dilworth); her husband Andrew "AJ" Stibitz; her son Ernst "Ernie" Stibitz; her sister Carrie Lich (Jeff); her grandmother Beverly McCord; and her parents-in-law, Dr. Henry and Florence Stibitz. She is also survived by in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials in honor of Laura may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to Ernie's education fund.
