He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dean and Olga Dean (Meggert); and his sister Anna Rude. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Melissa Ross (Tim) of Pickford, MI. and Brad Dean (Meri) of Alpena; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Timothy, Carley, Tanner, Jade, Haley and Kaylyn; and his brother Jerry Dean (Diana) of Alpena.
