With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Benson of Alpena, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Cousineau; her children, Donald Tovey and Sherry Tovey; and her brothers, Fred Cousineau and William Cousineau.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Benson; her children, Tim Tovey (Angie), Karen Tovey, Robin Martin (Larry), Annette Paad (Lawrence), Billie Jo Foster (Joel), April Robinette (Jeff) and Joni Timm (Brian); and her siblings, Joe Cousineau and Mary Mischley (Bud). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
