We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2022, at the age of 84, Karl Herman Luckert of Alpena, Michigan, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Luckert and Anne Luckert (Lorch); his great grandchild Jeremiah Grant, II; and his sister Eleanore Sinacori. He is survived by: his wife Carol Nagle; his children, Kevin Luckert (Eileen), Catherine Schmid (Matthew) and Caryn Thatcher (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jeremiah Grant (Kira), Kalen Luckert, Carleigh Sponseller (Cody), Jakob Schmid (Kayelynn), Spencer Schmid, Payton Schmid, Connor Thatcher, Emily Thatcher and Ethan Thatcher; his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Blakeleigh, Nolan, Ryder and Shiloh; and his brother Kenneth Luckert (Carole).

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
