She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrl J. Stevenson and Genevieve Stevenson (Portwine); her son James Socia; her stepdaughter Suni Speaks; and her brother Sam Stevenson.
She is survived by: her friend Ashley Paulsell (Frantz); her husband David K. Szymanski; her son Kevin Socia (Sharon); her stepson David Szymanski; her grandchildren, Ashley Socia (AJ), Haley Socia, Megan Socia, Sarah Mora (Socia) and Cailyn Branback; and her brother John Stevenson (Nancy). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
