She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gapske and Ema Gapske (Bucholtz); her son Brian Nowland; and her siblings, Gerald Gapske, Bernard Gapske, Edward Gapske, Elroy Gapske, Eugene Gapske, Donald Gapske, Henriette Kuhlman, Dorothy Anderson, Maria Gapske and Jeannine Reinke.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Carol; and her granddaughter Stephanie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
