He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hoppe and Marie (Gatzke); and his brothers, Louis Hoppe and Paul Hoppe. He is survived by: his children, Laura Koroncey (Brian), Melissa and John Matthew; his brother Gerald Hoppe; and the mother of his children Marge Hoppe.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in John's name be made to American Diabetes Association or the Alpena Senior Citizens Center.
