He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Edwards; and his siblings, Stanton Gardner and Mitzy Wilson. He is survived by: his mother Lydia Edwards (Gammey); his wife Laurie Edwards (Kirksey); his sons, Blake (Darien), Ryan (Kenzie) and Jody Jr.; and his siblings, Janet Roberts (James), Cindy Gregg (Danny), Karen Isaac, Olivia Ferguson and Arnold Edwards (Rhonda). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
