She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Vogler and Evelyn Vogler (Karsten); her husband Donald Powers; her grandson Trevor Powers; her son-in-law Brad Birmingham; and her siblings, Herman Vogler Jr., Neil Vogler and Ruie Pines.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Powers (Donna) and Janine Birmingham; her granddaughters, Sara Armstrong, Casey Wood, Toni Posluszny (Shane) and Alexandria Poag (John); her great grandchildren, Alaina, Maclyn Wood, Liam Armstrong and Julianna Poag; and her brother Jason Vogler.
