The passing of Jean I. Chrzan of Alpena, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Gagnon; her husband Raymond Chrzan; her grandson Nicholas Marshall; and her siblings, Floyd, Leo, Roy, Ernest, Joseph, Dolores Owens, Dora Smigelski, Nona Huyck, Alta Nensewitz and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Marshall, Jack Chrzan (Susan), Carl Chrzan (Barbara), Kathy Romstadt (Michael) and Susan Garrigo (Jose Juan); her grandchildren, Heather Kirschner (Travis), Emily Marshall, Eric Chrzan (Aimee), Joshua Romstadt (Danielle), Dr. Kara Naberhuis (Michael) and Maria Ruth; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Sawyer Kirschner, Mason, Tucker, Hunter Chrzan and Levi Naberhuis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Of All Saints Parish (817 Sable St, Alpena, MI 49707). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
