She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhardt Schalk and Iva Schalk (Mielke); her husband Bob Strong; her siblings, Mike, Butch, Chuck, Darwin Schalk and Donna Clifton; and her son-in-law Jim Dolton.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Dolton of Mason, Bobbie Cornell (Larry) of Alpena and Gordon Strong (Robin) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Rob Dolton (Jane), Patrick Dolton (Sara), Ken Parsons, Katie Strong (Ben) and Clay Strong (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Nathan, Allison, Emalee, Jack, William and Easton; and her siblings, Carol Wenzel, Deanna Sellke (Don), Melody Potter (Bruce), Barbara Koss (Jerry), Wayne Schalk (Linda) and Gerhardt Schalk (Pam). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church School, the St. Bernard Friendship Room, or Hospice of Michigan.
