He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulric Lixie and Lillian Lixie (Jeziokowski); his daughter Terri Brower; and his siblings, Mary Lixie, Jerry Lixie, Helen Woods, Peggy Stone, Jackie Helinski, Lorraine Lixie, Barb Michaud and Patricia Spalding.
He is survived by: his wife Gaye Mousseau; his children, Cindy Martin (Rod), Debbie Sabourin (Brett Hubers), Dina Mousseau (Scott) and Harold Lixie; his son-in-law Jeff Brower; his grandchildren, Janae Martin (Trevor Hoon), Broc Martin (Audrey), Cassandra Boensch (Zach), Heather Mousseau and Kimberly Mousseau; his great grandchildren, Owen Martin Finn Hoon and Lyla Martin; his sister Betty Lawler; and his brother-in-law Norm Helinski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The military honors will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of All Saints Parish W. Chisholm.
