He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Simmons and Evelyn Simmons (Benner); his spouse Glenice Cole; and his sister Susan Prince. He is survived by: his children, Tina Klosowski (Dennis) and Tim Simmons (Kerri); his grandchildren, Caleb Simmons and Brennan Klosowski; his close friend Mary Zeller; his brother Tom Simmons (Jane); and his brother-in-law Don Prince.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). The military honors will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
