James DeWyre Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James DeWyre in Alpena, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James DeWyre to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William DeWyre and Ruth DeWyre (Rhode); and his brother Terry DeWyre. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael DeWyre (Joy), Larry DeWyre (Karen) and Judy Lincoln; his sister-in-law Mary DeWyre; his wife Linda Szymanski; his sons, Timothy DeWyre (Lori Markowski) and Robin DeWyre (Michelle); and his granddaughter Cora DeWyre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the McWilliams Funeral Home (504 W Washington Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A prayer will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (817 Sable St, Alpena, MI 49707).
