She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Pernie and Jeanette Pernie (Lince); her daughters, Lee Danford and Laura Bensman; her grandson Cameron; and her siblings, Paul Pernie and Anne Forrester.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eugene Pernie (Debra) of Alpena, David Pernie (Judy) of South Carolina and Ruth Lancewicz of Alpena; her sister-in-law Rosemary Pernie of Alpena; and her close friend Michael Marchlewski. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; one great grandchild.
