Helen Marie Kortman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 87, Helen Marie Kortman of Alpena, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Meredith and Bessie Meredith (Miller); her daughter Cherri Pullis; and her siblings, Catherine Houser, Beatrice McNelly, Glenys Snyder and Robert Meredith.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Kortman; her children, DeLynne Bahling (James), Steve Kortman (Sue) and Colleen Konieczny (Tom); her son-in-law Steve Pullis; and her siblings, Paul "Gene" Meredith (Frieda), Billy Meredith and Marian Kortman (William). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
