It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Heussner (Alpena, Michigan), who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Heussner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dietz and Margaret Dietz (Egenriether); her son Bernard Dale Dowling; her husband Les Heussner; her daughter-in-law Sandra Dowling (Fifier); her grandson Douglas Dowling; her siblings, Mabel Reynolds, Florence Werth, Leonard, Carl, Ralph, Harold, Clarence and Herman; and her stepsons, Larry Heussner and Mike Heussner.
She is survived by: her former husband Bernard Dowling; her grandsons, Donald (Janean), David (Sue) and Dale (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Dana Hamp (Eric), Jenna Cottrell (Matthew), Katelyn Kane (Sean), Kiersten Dowling, Dan Dowling (Jolene), Jason Dowling and Kevin Meeuwenberg; her sister-in-law Lorraine Dietz; her stepson Bill Heussner (Linda); her stepdaughter-in-law Elaine Heussner; and her nieces, Patti Davis (Chip), Carol Johnson, Margie Haaxma (Kurt) and Helen Saddler. She is also survived by eight great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Donations may be made to Word of Life Baptist Church memorial fund or Hospice of Michigan.
