He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kissau and Elsie Kissau (Seeger); his wife Jean Badder; his brother Eddie; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Hass and Grayson Schaedig.

He is survived by: his children, Rick Kissau (Lois), Laurie Slater and Tamyra Schaedig (Bill); and his grandchildren, Bradley Tate, Shannon Kissau, Chris Kissau (Natasha), Rick Slater (Angie), Brittany Barveld (Josh), Tyler Schaedig (Tracie) and Dalton Schaedig (Carlee Sauls). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
