It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Shultz of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Jackowiak and Laura Jackowiak (Vetter); her children, Marilyn Krentz (Wayne) of Alpena, Don (Ginger) of Alpena, John (Lorraine) of Alpena and Randy (Lynn) of Alpena; her grandchildren, Brian, Mike, Kevin, Steve, Amanda, Lisa and Kaylin; her husband John W. Shultz (Soltysiak); and her children, Leona and James. She was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
