She was predeceased by: her father Edward Nikiel; her husband Donald J. Dowling; and her sister Maria Brock. She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Dowling, Sylvia Switzer (Lynn), Cindy Troxel (Tim), Donald Dowling Jr. and Edward Dowling (Laurie); her grandchildren, Andrew Switzer, Mark Werda (Heidi) and Amber Crawford (John); and her great grandchildren, Angel, Maria and Liam.
