It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Anne Sherwood of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Krentz and Emma Krentz (Bruski); her husband John "Jack" Sherwood; her grandson Vincent; and her siblings, Albert Krentz, Harold Beitler, Reinhold Beitler, Hilda Kelly, Lydia Beitler, Fritz Beitler, Albert Beitler, Walt Beitler, Arnold Krentz, Adolph Krentz, Herman Krentz, Helen Ricketts, Ewald Krentz, Bertha Ware, Alfred Krentz, Elden "Yogi" Krentz and Melborn "Pete" Krentz.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Sherwood (Sherry), James Sherwood and Thomas Sherwood; and her grandchildren, Veronica Hart (Jon), Rory Sherwood (Kristen), Jennifer Sherwood, John Sherwood, Samantha Sherwood, Amanda Sherwood, Katherine Sherwood, Alec Sherwood and Jamie Sherwood. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
