She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gedeon and Harriette Gedeon (Heltman); her son Joseph Alexander; her granddaughter Sara Alexander; her sister Shirley Hough; and her daughter-in-law Maria Person-Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Jim of Alpena, Michigan, Susan Schellie of Alpena, Michigan and Jeremy Scheske (Janie) of Alpena, Michigan; and her brothers, Jeffrey Gedeon (Marion) of Alpena, MI and John Gedeon of Hubbard Lake, MI. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
