He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Lancaster and Eva Lancaster (Lundeen); his wife Evelyn Trautman; and his brothers, Robert Lancaster and John Lancaster.
He is survived by: his children, Sherie McTaggart (Rich), Tim Lancaster (Dawn) and Pamela Lancaster Malaney; his grandchildren, Lisa McIntosh, Bryan Stafford (Julie), Stephanie Paquette (Phil), Ben Hoppe (Jenny), Jerred Hoppe (Megan), CJ Malaney (Jeanette), Michael Malaney (Nicole), Austin Malaney, Taime LaFave and Damien LaFave; his siblings, Karen McIntosh (Clarence) and Tom Lancaster (Sharon); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Peterson. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (119 W Dunbar St, Alpena, MI 49707).
