He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nye and Eva Nye (Wilson); and his siblings, Gloria, Dorothy Wisniewski, Bill Nye and Charles Nye.
He is survived by: his children, Gabriel Nye (Caitie) and Lindsay Nye; his siblings, Barbara Linton (Ronald), James Nye (Arlene), Carol Doktor (Michael), Frank Nye (Mary), John Nye (Debbie) and Joe Nye; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Nye and Bill Wisniewski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
