He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hillman and Irene Hillman (Szatkowski); his grandson George Krug; and his siblings, Thomas Hillman, Robert Hillman, Donald Hillman, Janet Sylvester and Kaye Bielat.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Amy Krug (Tony) and Edwin Hillman (Kelly); and his sisters, Penny Barton and Nancy McFalda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
