It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Louis Detloff of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Detloff and Katherine Detloff (Andrzejewski); his wife Helen Swartzinski; and his brothers, Leon and Donald.
He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Detloff (Arlene) of Alpena, Rosemary Allen-Hatcher of Alpena, Barbara Gibas of Bay City and Marianne Klee of Alpena; and his close friend William Kowalski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
