We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2023, at the age of 89, Francis Carl Stafford (Alpena, Michigan), born in Harbor Beach, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Stafford and Lucille Stafford (Olsen); his daughter Mary Lou Hamer; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Janet Stonex; his children, Fritz, Jr. (Michele), Ron, Laurie and Greg (Debi); his brother Doug (Kay); his grandchildren, Rurik Hamer (Nicole), Dustin Hamer, Jason Stafford (Heather), Ben Stafford (Michelle), Rochelle Tapping (Mark) and Chelsie Stugart; and his pets, Alfie and Trouble. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Fritz's name to St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena, Hospice of Michigan, Huron Humane Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.
