He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szydlowski and Victoria Szydlowski (Przybyla); his granddaughter Elizabeth Grulke; and his brothers, Jerome Sydlowski and Julian.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Howard; his children, David Szydlowski (Rose) of Alpena, Mary Dumas (Dale) of Royal Oak, Michael Szydlowski (Cindy) of Alpena, Ann Szydlowski of Frazier, Susan Grulke (James) of Alpena, Thomas Szydlowski (Kim) of Woodhaven, Paul Szydlowski of Oxford, Catherine Szydlowski of St. Clair Shores, Matthew Szydlowski (Tammy) of Grand Ledge and Sarah Hana (Jason) of Shelby Township; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Holly, Adam, Kate, Jeremy, Kathleen (Liam), Jennifer, Brett, John, Emily (Faye), Dale, Krysta (Conrad), Eric, Brooke, Rebecca, Matt, J. R., Colleen, Benjamin, Owen, Madeline, Ethan and Rylie; and his sister Emily Sydlowski.
