She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo DuPuis and Johanna DuPuis (Niewola); her spouse Byron Nelson; her son-in-law Bob Roll; and her siblings, Lucille Greer, Marie Bey, Leota Thompson and Donald DuPuis.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Nelson (Cheryl), Nancy Nelson-Simpson (Peter), Barry Nelson (Ruth) and Lori Roll-Jones (Brent). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan or All Saints School.
