She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Nitscher and Matilda Nitscher (Paad); her husband Warren Peterson; her daughter Marilee Peterson; her grandchildren, Jessica Peterson and Andrew VanMassenhove; and her siblings, Florence Jaskolski (William), Marilyn Nitscher and Donald Nitscher.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Peterson (Kelly), Sally VanMassenhove (Gary), Tena Peterson, Robert Peterson (Michele Dainoviec) and April Darga (Eric); her grandchildren, Heather Maroney (Brendan), Eric Peterson, Amy Konieczny (Kurt), Kevin Peterson (Brooke), Daniel VanMassenhove (Cristie), Kristy VanMassenhove (Kyle Klein), Alex Darga and Kelly Bania (Scott); her great grandchildren, Kiara Frank, Kynzie Frank, Malachi Maroney, Alivia Maroney, Ezra Peterson, Maggie Kelly, Emma Kelly, Hendrix McKay, Harrison McKay, Lennyx Konieczny, Ledger Konieczny, Jaidyn Peterson, Kyler Peterson, Harper Peterson, Ireland Peterson, Isaac VanMassenhove, Sydney VanMassenhove, Klarissa Klein, Kaleb Klein, Ashlee VanMassenhove, Benjamin Bania, Kate Bania and Emily Bania; and her great great grandchild Oliver Grunow.
Interment: Grace Lutheran Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church-Alpena or Hospice of Michigan.
