He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tovey and Norma Tovey (LeTourneau); his children, Donald H. Tovey and Sheri Lynn Tovey; his grandson Timothy Jr.; and his siblings, Judy VanSipe, Marion Berkowski, Richard, Robert, Charles "Otto" and Gerald Tovey.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Tovey (Angie), Karen Tovey of Alpena, MI, Robin Martin (Larry) of Brown City, MI, Annette Paad (Lawrence) of Alpena, MI, Billiejo Foster (Joel) of Alpena, MI and April Robinette (Jeff) of Alpena, MI; and his sisters, Patricia Glomski of Alpena, MI, Carol Ulch (Darrell) of Alpena, MI and Janet Roy (John). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
