He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Wellman and Annie Wellman (Rex); his wife Patricia Wellman of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughter Roxanne Taylor; and his brother Stephen "Dale" Wellman.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Gilkes-Mitchell (Mark); and his grandchildren, James Taylor, Michele Cash II (Frankie), Kellie Holt (Jason), Lindsay Kish (Jeremy), Joshua Taylor and Matthew Mitchell. He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren.
