Stevens of Alpena, Michigan, born in Herron, Michigan, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Smith and De Netta Smith (Schultz); her husband George Stevens; and her siblings, James Smith, Willis Smith, Lela Goldbeck, Betty Skiba, Donald Smith, Dwayne Smith, Jerry Smith, Charles Smith and Karen Hobby.
She is survived by: her children, Rickie Kindt (Esther), Larry Kindt, Tamyra DeCaire (Gary), Dennis Kindt (Annette) and Allen Kindt (Mary Beth); her siblings, Leland Smith, Phyllis Summers (Keith), Bethel Smith, II (Victoria), Dixie Winters (Lew), Darlene Cardwell and Kevin Smith (Beverly); and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Smith, Krisha Smith, Diane Smith and Ron Hobby. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
According to Delores' wishes her body has been donated to the University of Michigan.
