He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his grandson Dennis; his children, Donetta Ghosh (Snehashish) of Seattle, WI and Dennis Leavesley (Kendra) of Alpena; his siblings, Thomas Leavesley of Alpena, Greg Leavesley of Danville, AL, Bev Wiescnowski of Alpena and Penny Reeves of Faulkville, AL; and his grandchildren, Michael Hildreth, Nikolas Leavesley, Neelu Ghosh and Kabbo Ghosh. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
