He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Hartman; his spouse Shirley A. Haken; his brother James Hartman (Lynn); his brother-in-law Darald Kitter; and his nephews, Ted and Ken Kitter.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Hartman (Cindy), Sue Murphy (Mike) and Shari Romel (Paul); his grandchildren, Keith Hartman (Stacie), Jessica Krawczak (Luke), Adam Neuman (Leah), Jason Romel (Bill) and Jordan (Randy Eaton); his siblings, Gary Harman (Mary), Sally Neil (John) and Dale Hartman; his stepsisters, Shirley and Elaine; his sister-in-law Patricia Kitter; and his niece Jacci Stepaniak. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
