He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin May and Dorothy May (Johnson); his daughter Lourrie McDonald; his granddaughter Amber Jo May; his grandparents, Charles and Lillian Johnson; his siblings, Frank May, Audrey Dekett and Horrace "June" Bramhill; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Spigelmyre, Wesley Spigelmyre, Donald Spigelmyre, Frank Spigelmyre, Harold Spigelmyre, Michael Spigelmyre and Harold Bates.
He is survived by: his wife Marvis Spigelmyre; his sons, Greg May (Donna), Chuck May (Krys) and Frank May (Daniell); his son-in-law Ron McDonald; his grandchildren, Ashley McConnell, Brandon McConnell, Mitchel May (Ashley), Danielle May, Jared May (Morgan) and Cassidy May (Preston); his great grandchildren, Arianna, Camron McConnell, Hayden, Harper, Harlow McConnell, Jase, Jeslyn May and Everleigh Blues; his sister Barbara Bates; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys Spigelmyre, Cathy Spigelmyre, Janet Spigelmyre, Susan Partyka and Peggy Spigelmyre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Inurnment: Evergreen Cemetery, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
