We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 77, Carol Jean Witherbee of Alpena, Michigan, born in Lexington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Carol Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carol Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Cook and Margaret Cook (Mayens); and her brother Richard Cook. She is survived by: her husband Roger Witherbee; and her sons, Ross Witherbee and Glen Witherbee (Jason).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
