Betty Jane Sytek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Sytek of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on December 11, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pilarski and Bernice Pilarski (Wisniewski); and her husband Norman Sytek. She is survived by: her children, Pauline Blanton (Brian) of Presque Isle, Agatha Ropeta (Joseph) of Rochester Hills, Ron Sytek (Ann) of Alpena and Mary Segrest (Duncan) of Parkersburg; her grandchildren, Jessica Ford (Kevin), Allison Peters, Adam Sytek (Lauren), Renee Karsaba (George), Beth Segrest, Maggie Sytek, Rebecca Segrest, Bryn Ropeta and Jake Ropeta; and her great grandchildren, Alexander, Vincent Ford, Natalie Karsaba and Madeleine Sytek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to All Saints of Alpena for the stained glass window restoration project.
