Arthur L. Samp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur L. Samp of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Samp and Celia Samp (Kaszubowski); and his daughter Karen Kelly (James). He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Zielaskowski of Mary's Catholic Church; and his siblings, David Samp, June Kaszubowski, Melvin Samp, Raymond Samp, Genevieve McCann and Dolores Kowalsky. He is also survived by three children, 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the A. E. Ross Funeral Home (516 W Chisholm St, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
