He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Prevost and Evelyn Prevost (Badder); his wife Rena Weinert; his son-in-law Bill Dones; and his brother Donald Prevost.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Prevost (Diane), Gregg Prevost (Colleen), Dalair Dones, Shawn Manning (Neil) and Kevin Prevost; his grandchildren, Travis Hansen (Amy), Heather Winfield (Kevin), Jeremy Hansen (Heather), Dustin Prevost (Lisa), Brett Hansen (Marie), Zachariah Prevost (Elizabeth), Emilee Manning (Evan Beyer), Shyla Prevost, Kylie Prevost and Chyenne Prevost (Ozmund Johnson); his great grandchildren, Cayden, Blaise, Aaden, Jett, Wyatt, TayOnna, Camdyn, Tatum, Kennedie, Elisha, Benjamin and Aaron; and his sisters, Carol Prevost, Carolyn Ritthaler (Ed) and Dixie Crevier.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM. The military honors was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church (500 S Brooke St, Alpena, MI 49707).
