He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lumsden and Anna Lumsden (McArthur); his grandson Dale Arthur Kirschner; and his siblings, Blanche Lumsden, William "Elston" Lumsden and Beulah Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McCarty; his daughters, Elizabeth Kirschner (Ruben) and Elsie Wilson (Scott); his grandchildren, Kenneth Kirschner (Jamie), Suzanne Van Der (Clinton), Heather Rossi (Daniel), Joseph Kirschner (Chelsie), David Kirschner (Kassi) and Hillary Lancaster (Aaron Sroka); and his great grandchildren, Chara, Javon, Ian, Eli, Benjamin, Joey, Greyson, Charlotte, Abraham and Isaiah.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Lumsden to Hospice of Michigan.
