He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rubin Byrd and Stella Byrd (Pinion); his children, Kelly M. Draper of Washington, Todd D. Byrd (Tamara) of Washington and Tracy L Tekmen of Lewes, Delaware; his grandchildren, Jeffrey T. Draper, Sydney Mrowczynski (Tyler), Elliott Byrd, Yashar Tekmen, Aileen Tekmen and Adem Tekmen; his great grandchildren, Summer Tekmen, Aspen Roberts and Aurora Roberts; his siblings, Joyce Cox and James Byrd of Mayfield, Kentucky.; his wife Judy Davis; and his brother-in-law Bobby Cox.
