James Thomas Ligon Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dimmitt Ligon and Mary Whitlock Ligon (Morris); his wife Josephine; his son Russell; his grandson Benjamin; and his brother Bob.
He is survived by: his children, James Ligon (Sally), Mary Louise Ligon, Catherine Durst (Ligon), Janet McCormick (Paul), Jean Fischer (Kurt) and Scott Ligon; and his siblings, Patricia Sexton (Ligon) of Franklin, Jean Ligon of Hamburg and Richard Ligon of Hawaii. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (201 E St Clair St, Almont, MI 48003).
