He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Merino; his sons, Kyle (Kimberly) of Oxford, Christopher (Jennifer) of Clermont and Keith (Erin) of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Kain, Makenzie, Conner, Axel, Makayla Evie, Rylee and Madison; and his siblings, Robert of Allenton, Joanne Kurczewski of Sterling Heights, Donna Castle (Kem) of Paris and Gary (Monica) of Carsonville, MI..

Donations can be made to the family for a future athletic scholarship or a memorial on a sports field at Almont High School.
