We bid farewell to Sam George Wiederhold Jr. of Alma, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2024 at the age of 92. Sam George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Wiederhold (Albrecht); his wife Wilma Grasley; and his siblings, William Wiederhold, Lillie Ferrell and Minnie Schlameus.
He is survived by: his father Sam Wiederhold; his children, Trent Wiederhold of Breckenridge, Mark Wiederhold (Marla) of Rochester Hills, Heidi Davis (Ron) of Livonia and Eric Wiederhold of Clio; his grandchildren, Bradley, Benjamin, Allison, Andrew, Matthew and Noah; and his siblings, Edwin Wiederhold and Bertha Smith. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alma Church of God (200 W Superior St, Alma, MI 48801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Riverside Cemetery.
In honor of Sam's life and ministry, memorial contributions may be made to the Alma Church of God.
