He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Ryder, and Minnie Ryder, Sr. (Meyer); his children, Roger D. "Skip" Ryder, Jr. and Cheryl Pretzer (Tim); his granddaughter Tonia Smith; and his brothers, Larry and Arley Ryder, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Shepard (Larry) and Sharlene Gallahan (Anne Ryder); and his sister Fran Mills. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alma VFW.
