It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rockford Arthur Browne (Alma, Michigan), born in Ashley, Michigan, who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ois Browne and Eva Hoffer Browne; his wife Kathryn Peters; his children, Jimmy Browne and Nancy Smejkal; and his sisters, Carmelita McVeigh, Yvonne Foglesong, Ruth Wischmeyer and Vivian Green.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Browne (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Trevor Browne (Judy) of Sheridan, Troy Browne (Heather) of Hazel Park, Jennifer Greening (DJ) of Sumner, Stephen Smejkal of Sumner, Becky Graham (Jeremy) of St. Louis, Scott Yost of Tennessee and Jodi Yost of Texas; his niece Beverly Krieger; and his brothers, Garold Browne of Sumner and Ois Browne, Jr. of Ithaca. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
