He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Knight and Ruth L. Knight (Hayes); and his siblings, Gene, George, Bradley Knight and Winifred Bombyk.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Foss; and his children, David, Patrick and Joyce Coyne of Royal Oak. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Sanilac Shrine Club, or the Church.
